International Radio Fair 2019
Esteemed Madam,
Greetings from
Outreach! We are happy to inform you that Fifth Outreach International Radio
Fair (OIRF 2019) is to be organized by philanthropic organization Outreach, on
the occasion of World Radio Day. This is the biggest radio get together of
India. It will be held from 12th to 14th February 2019 at Ravindra Mandap,
Bhubaneswar. The objective of the event is celebrating radio. We are trying to
make public understand the importance of Radio, by entertaining and educating
them.
Objective of the

and World Radio Day.
- Increasing Radio
listenership.
- Sensitizing
broadcasters on importance of radio for public service.
- Encouraging
youngsters to choose radio as career.
- Promotion and
Exchange of Culture.
- Providing
assistance to Community radio enthusiasts.

from many countries of Asia.
- Working Radio
Jockeys, Broadcasters and technicians from different stations of India.
- Union & State
Ministers, Government officials, station owners, stake holders, radio
associations.

different parts of India and abroad.

different states to perform art, music and dance.
- Broadcasting
equipment manufacturers.
- Radio Set
manufacturers.
- Ham radio operators
from different states.
About Outreach
International Radio Fair:
The exhibition will
include old and new radio sets, old and new radio equipments, DRM, auxiliary
studio, sand art on World Radio Day theme, Philately on radio, radio repairing
shop, new radio shop, handmade radio shop and selfie zone. Simultaneously,
there will be meetings, seminars and cultural programs. Audience can see
popular radio stars performing popular radio contents on stage. Selected radio
star presenters from different radio channels of India will host the evenings.
We do hereby invite you
to participate in this fair. By making a stall in the event ground, history,
work and importance of CRI can be projected. It’ll be definitely informative
for visitors. On the other hand it can be a good platform for promotion of your
station and Bengali language service. (CRI Hindi service representative takes
part in this fair.)
CRI Listeners’
Conference
Previous year lacs of
visitors enjoyed Outreach International Radio Fair. Huge number of Bengali
speaking radio listeners from West Bengal and Bangladesh also visit this fair.
As the popularity of radio fair is growing day by day, it is an opportunity for
your organization to arrange a listeners’ conference here. We have noticed
that, your listeners continuously demands for listeners’ conference. Our organization
will provide you all kind of support (venue, accommodation, auditorium etc.) to
organize the conference. Other Indian language services like Bengali, Urdu and
English may also jointly organize this. As some of your monitors are coming to
Radio Fair every year, they will also happily help you to organize this. We are
waiting for your response for further discussion on this.

We do hereby certify
that Mr. Didarul Iqbal, Chairman, South Asia Radio Club (Address: House Number
336, Section - 7, Road - 2, Mirpur, Dhaka- 1216, Bangladesh) is being selected
as the Coordinator of Outreach International Radio Fair (OIRF) 2019, which is
to be held at Bhubaneswar of India on the occasion of World Radio day.
Here are the terms
and conditions of his operation.
- Mr. Iqbal has
voluntarily agreed to contribute for the promotion of the said event. Any kind
of remuneration will not be paid to him for his service.
- He’ll work for the
publicity of the said event in Bangladesh only.
- He himself will
participate in the event and encourage radio lovers to participate in this.
- He may talk to
different Overseas Bengali radio services regarding their participation in the
event.
- He’ll invite renowned
Broadcasters and different stake holders of broadcasting industry of Bangladesh
to OIRF Bhubaneswar. (With prior consultation with the Chief Convener of the
event.)
- His functions are
limited to the publicity of OIRF 2019 only. He will not be associated with any
other activities/affairs of Outreach.

Inyternational Radio Fair 2019
ছোট বেলা থেকে রেডিওর প্রতি আমার আগ্রহ ছিল অনেক বেশী। বাবাও রেডিও শুনতেন, আমিও বাবার তিন ব্যান্ডের রেডিও টা লুকিয়ে লুকিয়ে শুনতাম। এভাবে শুনতে গিয়ে একদিন রাত নয় টার সময় রেডিও সেটের নব ঘুরাতে ঘুরাতে মিডিয়াম ওয়েভ বেতার তরঙ্গে চীন আন্তর্জাতিক বেতার কেন্দ্রকে আবিস্কার করি। সেই থেকে এই পর্যন্ত সিআরআই
এর সাথে আছি। মজার কথা হচ্ছে তখনকার সময়ে সিআরআই এর ঢাকাস্থ চীনা দূতাবাস এর ঠিকানায় চিঠি পত্র লিখতাম। যখন রেডিওতে
নিজের হাতে লিখা চিঠি পত্রের জবাব শুনতাম তখন মনটা আনন্দে আত্নহারা হয়ে উঠত। আর মাঝে মাঝে চীন আন্তর্জাতিক বেতার থেকে আমার বাড়ীর ঠিকানায় চিঠি আসত ও প্যাকেটে নানা রকম ভিউ কার্ড, ক্যালেন্ডার স্টিকার ও অনুষ্ঠান সূচী হাতে পেয়ে মনের আনন্দ আরো দ্বিগুণ বেড়ে যেত। সে এক আলাদা অনুভূতি, যা ভাবলেই মনটা আনন্দে আত্নহারা হয়ে যেত। সত্যি বেতারের কাছে আমি চিরঋণী হয়ে গেলাম চিরকালের জন্য। এভাবে সিআরআই এ চিঠি লিখার পাশাপাশি পরিচয় হয় চট্টগ্রামের সন্দ্বীপ উপজেলার বেতার শ্রোতা দিদারুল ইকবালের সাথে। সালটা ১৯৯৭, দিদারুল ইকবাল
ও আমি (এম. ফোরকান) দু’জনে মিলে বসে সিদ্ধান্ত নিলাম চট্টগ্রামে যত বেতার শ্রোতা আছে তাদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করে সবাইকে সাথে নিয়ে চট্টগ্রামে একটা শ্রোতা ক্লাব গঠন করা যায় কিনা। যে কথা সে কাজ, এভাবে সকল স্থানীয় শ্রোতাদের সাথে নিয়ে ১৯৯৭ সালের ১লা অক্টোবর ওয়ার্ল্ড রেডিও ডিএক্স লিসেনার্স ক্লাব গঠন করি। যা বর্তমানে সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব নামে পরিচিত। আমরা বেতার শুনার পাশাপাশি বেতারে চিঠি পত্র লিখা, সামাজিক কর্মসূচি পালন এবং শ্রোতাবৃদ্ধির তৎপরতা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছি। এভাবে বেতারে চিঠি লেখালেখির এক পর্যায়ে সিআরআই-এর সাথে আমাদের এমন বন্ধুত্ব গড়ে ওঠে যে আমাদের ক্লাবের আমন্ত্রণে ২০০৩ সালে সিআরআই
বাংলা বিভাগের পরিচালক মাদাম ইউ কোয়াং ইউয়ে ও তৎকালীন উপ-পরিচালক চিয়াং চিং ছেং চট্টগ্রাম সফর করেন। চট্টগ্রামে তাদের সম্মানে আমরা সেদিন একটা শ্রোতা সমাবেশের আয়োজন করি এবং এক প্রীতিভোজেরও আয়োজন করি। সেদিনের স্মৃতিমাখা দিন গুলোর কথা মনে হলে মনের অজান্তে আনন্দে কান্না আসে। অনুষ্ঠানের দ্বিতীয় দিন তাদের দু’জনকে আমরা চট্টগ্রামেরর বিভিন্ন দর্শনীয় স্থান সমূহ ঘুরিয়ে ঘুরিয়ে দেখায়, পরে বিকালে বিদায় জানায়। এরপর ঢাকায় জাতীয় প্রেসক্লাবে সিআরআই শ্রোতা সম্মেলনে বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলের শ্রোতাদের সাথেও আমরাও অংশ নিই। সেদিনের অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মাদাম ইউ কোয়াং ইউয়ে, ছিয়াং চিং ছেং ও ঢাকায় নিযুক্ত চীনা রাষ্টদূত মিঃ চাই শি। সময়ের প্রতি চীনারা কত যে আন্তরিক তা সেদিনের মিঃ চাইশি সাহেবের অনুষ্ঠান স্থলে আগমনের ও বক্তব্য প্রদানের দৃশ্য দেখে শিখলাম। সত্যি চীন জাতি পৃথিবীর সমৃদ্ধশালী জাতি।
সেই শৈশব থেকে আজ অবধি সিআরআই বাংলা বিভাগের সাথে আমার ও আমাদের ক্লাবের সম্পর্ক হাঁটি হাঁটি পা পা করে এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে। সত্যি কথা বলতেকি সিআরআই আমার দেহ তথা মনের একটা অংশ বলে আমি মনে করি। সিআরআই বাংলা বিভাগ থেকে আমার ঠিকানায় পাঠানো চিঠি পত্র, খাম ভিউকার্ড স্টিকার সহ নানা উপহার সামগ্রী আমি অত্যন্ত যত্ন সহকারে সংরক্ষণ করে চলেছি এখনো। আজ আমি খুবই উৎফুল্ল ও আনন্দিত যে আমার প্রিয় সিআরআই বাংলা বিভাগ আগামী ২০১৯ সালের ১ জানুয়ারি ৫০ বছর পূর্তি তথা সুবর্ণ জয়ন্তী উদযাপন করতে যাচ্ছে। তাতে আমি মহা খুশি। আমি এই সুবর্ণ জয়ন্তীতে সিআরআই বাংলা বিভাগের সকল কলা কুশলী, সংবাদ পাঠক, উপস্থাপক সহ সর্বস্তরের কর্মকর্তা কর্মচারী সহ এবং বাংলাদেশ তথা ভারতের অগণিত শ্রোতাবন্ধুদের রক্তিম শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছি। সিআরআই এগিয়ে যাক শান্তি ও সমৃদ্ধির আগামীর বিশ্ব বির্নিমানে, সিআরআই দীর্ঘজীবি হউক, মৈত্রীর বন্ধন আরো উন্নতি লাভ করুক।
