The TV and radio talk show programme BBC Bangladesh Sanglap (dialogue) will begin on November 18.
BBC Media Action country director Charlotte Imbert on Wednesday at a city hotel briefed that the new series of the question-and-answer show would broadcast 60 programmes in the next 16 months before the general election in 2014.
The programme will encourage dialogue between people and their politicians and policy makers, she said.
The programme, aimed at initiating constructive public debate and encourage greater accountability from government and authority figures, will feature an online archive and target a diverse audience, she adds.
The new series aims to increase the numbers of young people, women and those from lower socio-economic groups watching and listening to the programme and is also focusing on improving the quality of public consultations on policy issues, she says.
Anyone can participate in the programme and visits the website www.bbcmediaaction.org, she says
