A Radio listeners' club from
BANGLADESH named South Asia Radio Club which got recognition and international
awards from Indonesia-China-India, this year have been granted with the 'Most
Active Club' title by the 'Radio Veritas Asia (RVA)' which broadcast from the
Fairview Park, Quezon City in Metro Manila of Philippines.
12th of April 2019, Friday located in Philippines, Quezon City at Fairview
Park the headquarters of Radio Veritas Asia (RVA) granted this accreditation.
The Certificate signed by the General Manager of Radio Veritas Asia
Fr. Victor F. Sadaya, CMF, P.hd and Program Director Fr. Singrayan
Anthonyyapan was awarded to the founder chairman of South Asia Radio Club,
special correspondent of the Daily Ekusher Bani (National Newspaper) and Radio
Activist Mr. Didarul Iqbal by program director Fr. Singrayan Anthonyyapan.
Fr. Bulbul Augustine Rebeiro, director of Bangla service 'Banideepti' along
with the former director Fr. Rev. Kamal Corraya, RVA program wing's audience
research head Ms. Arlene Arungayan Donarber and many more were present at the
moment of the ceremony.
Recognition was awarded as to the
active support to Radio Veritas Asia. Accordingly, Mr. Didarul Iqbal was awarded
for supporting Radio Veritas Asia from 1994
and for being able to participate at the 50th Anniversary representing
Bangladesh.
Founded on 11th of April 1969 with the very moto of broadcasting the tale of ultimate truth, Radio Veritas Asia, RVA in short celebrated their 50th anniversary. For this very occasion, a 2-day long celebration was successfully completed starting from 10 April at University of Santo Tomas and ending on 11 April on the headquarters of Radio Veritas Asia at Fairview Park, Quezon City in Philippines. The guests included not only the employees of Radio Veritas from there headquarter and the employees of the 22 language divisions but also the invited guest from Bangladesh the founder chairman of South Asia Radio Club, DXer Mr. DIdarul Iqbal. After attending the ceremony there Fr. Bulbul Augustine Rebeiro, Fr. Rev. Kamal Corraya and Didarul Iqbal returned to BANGLAESH.
