from South Asia Radio Club (SARC) Bangladesh.
It
is with great pleasure that I inform you the 23rd Founding Anniversary of our South Asia Radio Club
(SARC) has been celebrated in a very joyous atmosphere in Bangladesh.
The
23rd anniversary celebration of the club was held at Agargaon
Bangladesh Betar Campus in the capital city of Dhaka on Wednesday 30th September
2020 at 11 am.
Mr. D. Mir Shah Alam, Director, Bangladesh Betar- Commercial Service was present as the Chief Guest at the 23rd Foundation Anniversary of our Club.
Also present on the occasion was Md. Osman Gani, former Joint Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh and Vice Chairman of CRI Listeners Club of Bangladesh; Bangladesh Betar Director (Education) Md. Salah Uddin; Director (Communication) Md. Abdul Haque; Deputy Director Rafiqul Islam; Duty Officer Rozina Begum; Administrative Officer Mohsin Faraji; Superintendent of Bangladesh Police Md. Munir Hossain; New Dhaka City Managing Director Md. Sobhan; South Asia Radio Club (SARC) members Shawon Khan, AKM Nasir Uddin and Md. Habib Mia; Radio worker SM Sabuj; Salauddin Sagar; Aklas; Sraboni Das; Sharmin; Hosne Ara; Sohel; Md. Sohel; Mehraj; Md. Azizul; Sahabuddin; Nirab; Khadija; Enamul and many others were also present on the occasion.
Among our celebrations were-
(1) Reception of all guests to the venue.
(2) During the celebration of the founding anniversary of our club there was a cordial exchange between the guests and the members of the audience club.
(3) The Club Aims and Objectives, international achievements and future plans of the club were discussed at the event.
(4) On the occasion of the founding anniversary of the club, the Audio greeting message given by the English Section of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Agung Susatyo, Director of Voice of Indonesia (VOI) was played on the speaker.
(5) Important discussions were held on various international Radio broadcasting activities, especially Bangladesh Betar, Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Voice of Indonesia (VOI), China Radio International (CRI), Radio Veritas Asia (RVA) Philippines, NHK World Radio Japan, Deutsche Welle (DW) German, KBS World Radio Korea, BBC London, Voice of America (VOA), Radio Prague Int: Czech Republic, Radio Romania International (RRI), Radio Tehran (IRIB) Iran, Voice of Russia (VOR), Adventist World Radio (AWR), Radio Saudi Arabia (RSA), Radio Taiwan International (RTI), KTWR, Radio Slovakia International (RSI), All India Radio (AIR), ABC Radio Australia, Radio France International (RFI), Radio Free Asia (RFA), Radio Nepal, Radio Netherlands (RNW), Voice of Turkey, Voice of Mongolia and other Radio stations.
(6) Followed by a Cake-cutting ceremony and distributed to the guests and listeners with ceremonial environment.
(7) We are especially grateful to Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Voice of Indonesia (VOI) and others who have sent greetings on the occasion of the founding anniversary of our club.
As
you may know, our South Asia Radio Club is a largest Radio listeners club in
Bangladesh and around the world.
South
Asia Radio Club (SARC) was established in Chittagong on October 1, 1997. In the
beginning, the name of this club was “World Radio DX Listeners Club”. At
present the South Asia Radio Club (SARC) has about 50 branches and more than a
thousand members. South Asia Radio Club (SARC) is an active listener club in Bangladesh
and around the world. Our club helps to increase the audience of radio and
improve the quality of radio programs with various information and also
conducts various social service programs. The South Asia Radio Club (SARC)
plays an important role in developing the friendly relations between Bangladesh
and other countries, including promoting the culture of Bangladesh in abroad.
Already
our South Asia Radio Club has won multiple international Awards from Indonesia,
China and India.
We hope you will always support and encourage us in our radio related club activities.
