মানিক মিয়ার ২৮তম মৃত্যুবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাবের মিলাদ ও দোয়া মাহফিল সম্পন্ন

বেতার ভিত্তিক শ্রোতা সংগঠন সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক) বাংলাদেশ এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা চেয়ারম্যান ও রেডিও এক্টিভিস্ট দিদারুল ইকবাল (S21DAL) এর পিতা মো: মানিক মিয়ার ২৮তম মৃত্যুবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে মিলাদ ও দোয়া মাহফিল সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

শুক্রবার (২৬ জুন ২০২৬) বাদ আছর সিলেট সিটি কর্পোরেশন ৩৪নং ওয়ার্ড বাহুবল গ্রীণল্যান্ড আবাসিক এলাকার হযরত শাহপরান (র:) উপশহর বাহুবল জামে মসজিদে মরহুম মো: মানিক মিয়ার রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনায় মিলাদ ও দোয়া মাহফিলের আয়োজন করে সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক) বাংলাদেশ। বিশেষ দোয়া ও মুনাজাত পরিচালনা করেন, মাওলানা জাকির আহমদ।  

মিলাদ ও দোয়া প্রার্থনায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন, সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক) বাংলাদেশ এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা চেয়ারম্যান ও রেডিও এক্টিভিস্ট দিদারুল ইকবাল (S21DAL), শিশু বিষয়ক সম্পাদক লাবীব ইকবাল, সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক)- শাহপরান ইউনিট, সিলেটের সহসভাপতি মো. আফজল চৌধুরী, সাধারণ সম্পাদক মো. আব্দুল বারী, হাফিজ মৌলভী মখলিছুর রহমান, মৌলভী আজিজুর রহমান, সাবেক ব্যাংকার আব্দুর রহিম, জসিম উদ্দিন, আব্দুল কুদ্দুস, আব্দুল ওয়াসেহ, শওকত মাস্টার, মৌলভী মুফতি রায়হান আহমদ, বাহুবল ইউনিক ক্লাবের সভাপতি মো. মুহিবুর রহমান, মসজিদের মোয়াজ্জিন হাফিজ আজিজুর রহমান সহ অন্যান্য মুসল্লিবৃন্দ।

উল্লেখ্য, বাংলাদেশ রেলওয়ের চট্টগ্রাম সিগন্যাল ইন্সপেক্টর অফিসে কর্মরত অবস্থায় ১৯৯৮ সালের ২০ জুন ব্রেইন স্ট্রোক করে ইন্তেকাল করেন মো: মানিক মিয়া।

সিলেটের প্রবীণ সংবাদপত্রকর্মী সৈয়দ দারা মিয়ার ৩য় মৃত্যুবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে দোয়া ও মিলাদ মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

১২ জুন ২০২৬, শুক্রবার, বাদ আসর হযরত শাহজালাল (রহ.) মাজার মসজিদে সৈয়দ দারা মিয়ার পুত্র সিলেটের চাকরির খবরের সম্পাদক-প্রকাশক সৈয়দ সাইফুল ইসলাম নাহেদের উদ্যোগে দোয়া ও মিলাদ মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন, নিরাপদ সড়ক চাই (নিসচা) সিলেট জেলার আহবায়ক জহিরুল ইসলাম মিশু, সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক) বাংলাদেশের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা চেয়ারম্যান ও রেডিও এক্টিভিস্ট দিদারুল ইকবাল (S21DAL), সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক)- শাহপরান ইউনিট, সিলেটের সভাপতি মো. ময়নুল হক ও সহ-সভাপতি মো. আফজল চৌধুরী, সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক)- রাজবাড়ী জেলা ইউনিটের সাধারণ সম্পাদক শাওন খাঁন, সিলেট মহানগর সংবাদপত্র হকার্স সমবায় সমিতির সাবেক সাধারণ সম্পাদক কামাল মজুমদার, সাংবাদিক জাবেদ এমরান, ইমদাদুর রহমান চৌধুরী জিয়া, মামুন চৌধুরী, শিবলুর রহমান রাহুল, হৃদয় আহমদ, সিলেট মহানগর সংবাদপত্র হকার্স সমবায় সমিতির দপ্তর সম্পাদক হারুন অর রশিদ, সদস্য খোকন আহমদ গাজী, কামাল হোসেন, রায়হান আহমদ, আরিফ আহমদ, সৈয়দ সাহেদ আহমদ ও শেখ আবির আহমদ প্রমুখ।

মিলাদ মাহফিল পরিচালনা করেন মো. দিলোওয়ার হোসেন এবং মরহুমের মাগফেরাত কামনা করে দোয়া পরিচালনা করেন হাফিজ মো. জমির উদ্দিন।

South Asia Radio Club (SARC) Bangladesh has won the Star Bangladesh Award as the ‘Best Active Radio Listeners Club’

South Asia Radio Club (SARC) Bangladesh, one of the country’s leading Radio listeners’ organizations that has won multiple national and international awards, has won the prestigious ‘Star Bangladesh Award 2026’ in unique recognition of its work. The club was awarded this prestigious award in the 'Best Active Radio Listener Club' category for its contribution in listening to programs on various international Radio stations, including the country's national broadcaster Bangladesh Betar, encouraging the ignorant, backward and information-deprived groups of the grassroots of society to listen to Radio programs, increasing social awareness to improve their quality of life, and maintaining dynamism in the listeners’ organization.

The club’s Founder Chairman Didarul Iqbal (S21DAL), the club’s central leaders, officers, general members, leaders of various units and well-wishers, and all concerned expressed deep joy, pride and honor over this colorful achievement.

In a statement, the club's Chairman Didarul Iqbal (S21DAL) said, "This award is a unique reflection of our long-standing collective efforts, dedication and love for Radio culture. This honor has further increased our responsibility. In the coming days, we will continue our activities to make this medium of information, education, health and entertainment more popular among the common people."

It is worth noting that the South Asia Radio Club (SARC) Bangladesh has been working for a long time to increase the audience of various Radio stations including Bangladesh Betar, China Radio International (CRI), Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) World Service – Voice of Indonesia (VOI), Radio Veritas Asia (RVA) Philippines, The Voice of Vietnam (VOV), BBC World Service London, Voice of America (VOA), Deutsche Welle (DW) German, KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) World Radio, NHK World Radio Japan (RJ), Radio Prague International Czech Republic, Radio Taiwan International (RTI), Radio Romania International (RRI), Radio Tehran (IRIB), Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW), Radio Canada International (RCI), Radio Thailand World Service HSK-9, Radio Voice of Russia (RUVR), Radio France Internationale (RFI), Radio Saudi Arabia (RSA), ABC Radio Australia, Adventist World Radio (AWR) USA, Radio Pakistan, All India Radio (AIR), Radio Nepal, Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS), Radio Afghanistan International, The Voice of Mongolia (VOM), Radio Cairo Egypt, Radio Bulgaria (BNR), Radio Belarus, World Radio Switzerland (WRS), Radio Slovakia International (RSI), Radio Sweden (SR), Radio Havana Cuba (RHC), Voice of Turkey (TRT), WRMI Radio Miami International, Vatican Radio, Reach Beyond Australia, Voice of Korea (North Korea), Trans World Radio (TWR), Myanmar Radio, Radio Free Asia (RFA) USA etc. and encourage people to listen to the programs of the respective Radio stations.

Not only that, it has been playing an essential role in increasing social awareness by organizing constructive discussions, yard meetings, workshops and exhibitions on social development activities such as education, child marriage, dowry, drugs, women and child protection, sexual violence, climate, disasters, tree plantation, nature and environment, agriculture, health, nutrition, personal hygiene, etc., as well as distributing relief and medicine, blood donation, distributing educational materials, distributing sewing machines, distributing Radios, assistance in obtaining government and private services and regularly organizing various programs on important social issues.

Those concerned expressed the hope that this national recognition at the initiative of a private organization will further accelerate the future journey of the club.

The award was presented at a grand cultural program including the "Star Bangladesh Award 2026 (Season-2)" and a fashion show jointly organized on the occasion of the 1st Anniversary of Star Bangladesh Media and the 5th Anniversary of Bangladesh Mofossol Journalists Society (BMSS) at the Central Kochi-Kachar Mela Auditorium in Segunbagicha, Dhaka on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

The award was received by club member poet and lyricist Swarna Talukder on behalf of South Asia Radio Club (SARC) Bangladesh. Present at the event were Secretary General of the central club Nur Mohammed, President of South Asia Radio Club (SARC)- Sirajganj District Unit Md. Ariful Islam, Shakya Barua, Mohammad Akter Hossain, Anindya Barua Swapnil and others.

The father of martial arts in Bangladesh film industry and popular actor, producer and director Master Jahangir Alam was present as the chief guest at this grand award ceremony and cultural event, while popular film director, writer and television presenter Debashish Biswas was present as the special guest.

Also present at the event were prominent personalities including popular film actress of the 90s Mashuka Nasrin Raka, film and advertisement producer Jamb's Kajal. The event was presided over by Khandaker Asifur Rahman Tota, Chairman of Bangladesh Mofossol Journalists Society and CEO of Star Bangladesh Media.

The news of South Asia Radio Club (SARC) Bangladesh winning the prestigious 'Star Bangladesh Award 2026' has already been published in several national and local dailies in Bangladesh.

সমাজের তৃণমূলের অসচেতন, অনগ্রসর ও তথ্যবঞ্চিত জনগোষ্ঠির জীবনযাত্রার মান উন্নত করতে তাদের বাংলাদেশ বেতার সহ বিভিন্ন আন্তর্জাতিক রেডিও স্টেশন থেকে প্রচারিত নানা অনুষ্ঠান শুনতে উৎসাহিত করা এবং সামাজিক সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে শিক্ষা, বাল্যবিবাহ, যৌতুক, মাদক, নারী ও শিশু সুরক্ষা, যৌন সহিংসতা, জলবায়ু, দুর্যোগ, বৃক্ষরোপণ, প্রকৃতি ও পরিবেশ, কৃষি, স্বাস্থ্য, পুষ্টি, ব্যক্তিগত পরিচ্ছন্নতা ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে আলোচনা সভা, উঠান বৈঠক, কর্মশালা ও প্রদর্শনীর আয়োজনসহ ত্রাণ ও ঔষধ বিতরণ, রক্তদান, শিক্ষা সামগ্রী বিতরণ, সেলাই মেশিন বিতরণ, রেডিও বিতরণ, সরকারি-বেসরকারি সেবা পেতে সহায়তা ইত্যাদি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সামাজিক ইস্যুতে বছর জুড়ে বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজনের মাধ্যমে অপরিহার্য ভূমিকা পালন করায় ‘শ্রেষ্ঠ কর্মমুখর রেডিও শ্রোতাক্লাব’ হিসেবে স্টার বাংলাদেশ অ্যাওয়ার্ড ২০২৬ (সিজন-০২) পেয়েছে জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক একাধিক পুরস্কারপ্রাপ্ত বেতার শ্রোতা সংগঠন সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক) বাংলাদেশ।

সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক) বাংলাদেশ হলো রেডিও শ্রোতা, রেডিও কর্মী এবং গণমাধ্যম কর্মীদের একটি অলাভজনক আন্তর্জাতিক রেডিও গবেষণা, তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি বিনিময়, স্বেচ্ছাসেবী ও সামাজিক সংগঠন। রেডিও এক্টিভিস্ট দিদারুল ইকবাল (S21DAL) এই ক্লাবের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা চেয়ারম্যান। ১৯৯৭ সালের ১লা অক্টোবর চট্টগ্রামে প্রতিষ্ঠিত ক্লাবটি জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে রেডিও এবং শ্রোতাদের মধ্যে সেতুবন্ধন তৈরীর পাশাপাশি দেশে বেতার সংস্কৃতি উন্নয়ন এবং বহুমুখী সামাজিক উন্নয়নমূলক কাজে জড়িত থেকে সমাজে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনতে সমাজের অবহেলিত মানুষের কণ্ঠস্বর হয়ে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে।

গত ২৫ এপ্রিল ২০২৬, শনিবার, রাজধানী সেগুনবাগিচা কেন্দ্রীয় কচি-কাঁচা মিলনায়তনে স্টার বাংলাদেশ মিডিয়ার প্রথম এবং বাংলাদেশ মফস্বল সাংবাদিক সোসাইটি (বিএমএসএস)-এর পঞ্চম প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষ্যে যৌথ ভাবে আয়োজিত “স্টার বাংলাদেশ অ্যাওয়ার্ড ২০২৬ (সিজন-২) প্রদান ও ফ্যাশন শো সহ জমকালো এক সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানে এ পদক তুলে দেওয়া হয়। সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক) বাংলাদেশ এর পক্ষে অ্যাওয়ার্ডটি গ্রহণ করেন ক্লাব সদস্য কবি ও গীতিকার স্বর্ণা তালুকদার। এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন, ক্লাবের মহাসচিব নুর মোহাম্মদ, সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক)- সিরাজগঞ্জ জেলা ইউনিটের সভাপতি মো. আরিফুল ইসলাম, শাক্য বড়ুয়া, মোহাম্মদ আকতার হোসেন, অনিন্দ্য বড়ুয়া স্বপ্নীল প্রমুখ।

একটি সক্রিয় বেতার শ্রোতা ক্লাব হিসেবে সাউথ এশিয়া রেডিও ক্লাব (সার্ক) বাংলাদেশ-এর এই অভাবনীয় সাফল্য সত্যিই পুরো দেশের জন্য অত্যন্ত গর্বের ও আনন্দের। রেডিও শোনার পাশাপাশি নানা সামাজিক ও উন্নয়নমূলক কার্যক্রমের মাধ্যমে দেশ এবং আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে বাংলাদেশের নাম উজ্জ্বল করে চলেছেন ক্লাবটি। কাজের স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ ‘শ্রেষ্ঠ কর্মমুখর রেডিও শ্রোতাক্লাব’ হিসেবে গৌরবান্বিত স্টার বাংলাদেশ অ্যাওয়ার্ড লাভ করায় ক্লাবের সাথে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলে মহা আনন্দিত, গর্বিত এবং সম্মানিত।

জমকালো এই অ্যাওয়ার্ড প্রদান ও সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ চলচ্চিত্রে মার্শাল আর্টের জনক ও জনপ্রিয় অভিনেতা, প্রযোজক ও পরিচালক ওস্তাদ জাহাঙ্গীর আলম এবং বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন জনপ্রিয় চলচ্চিত্র পরিচালক ও উপস্থাপক দেবাশীষ বিশ্বাস। অনুষ্ঠানে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন নব্বই দশকের জনপ্রিয় চিত্রনায়িকা মাসুকা নাসরিন রাকা, চলচ্চিত্র ও বিজ্ঞাপন নির্মাতা জ্যাম্বস কাজলসহ বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গ। অনুষ্ঠানটির সভাপতিত্ব করেন বাংলাদেশ মফস্বল সাংবাদিক সোসাইটির চেয়ারম্যান এবং স্টার বাংলাদেশ মিডিয়ার সিইও খন্দকার আছিফুর রহমান তোতা।
